Hitachi, Ltd. and Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd. will jointly establish on March 20 a multimedia label "AFOON," signalling a major expansion in the companies* multimedia business operations. AFOON will release its first game title, "The Legend of EDEN2," in July, while "Tech Tech Kids1/Typing Adventure," an edutainment title, is scheduled to be released in March. Both titles will run under Windows95.
AFOON was established to expand the multimedia operations of the two companies by planning, producing and marketing multimedia software. For this, AFOON plans to provide the world with the works of Japan's finest artists and creators.
