Hitachi
Information Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., (Chairman: Mr. Yasuhiro
Moriuchi) headquartered in Shanghai, China (herein called by HISS),
which was established jointly by Hitachi, Ltd. (President and Director:
Mr. Etsuhiko Shoyama) headquartered in Tokyo, Japan and Hitachi (China),
Ltd., started its business operations in March 1st, 2002.
HISS is expected to expand the scale
of Hitachi's IT business in China by using information technology
widely provided in Japanese market as one of Hitachi Group's members.
HISS will provide ERP (iBaanERP), SCM,
CRM and other IT solutions to affiliates of Japanese companies and
other foreign based companies, as well as to Chinese companies making
global business operations. HISS will establish the offices in Beijing
and Shenzhen soon.
We will have the opening ceremony with all the parties concerned in
Shanghai today.
