Hitachi-GE Nuclear Energy the change of President

Tokyo, February 1, 2017 --- Hitachi-GE Nuclear Energy, Ltd. (Hitachi-GE), a joint venture established by Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE:6501) and GE (NYSE:GE), today announced the change of President and Representative Director in accordance with a resolution passed.

1. New appointment of President and Representative Director [Effective April 1, 2017]
