(TSE:6501, "Hitachi") commented on the news articles which reported that Hitachi would freeze the nuclear power construction project at Wylfa Newydd in the United Kingdom ("Horizon Project"). These articles aren't based on Hitachi's decision or disclosed information.
Hitachi will make its final investment decision for Horizon Project, after applying project assessment in terms of economic rationality as a private company.
