Introduce Building Systems in the New Normal Era
through the Session, Seminar and On-demand Videos Related to Smart Building
Tokyo, October 22, 2020 --- Hitachi Building Systems Co., Ltd. ("Hitachi Building Systems"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501, "Hitachi"), today announced that it will exhibit in the largest scale Hitachi Group event “Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2020 TOKYO ONLINE” to be held online for three days from November 4 to 6.
This event will be the 22nd Social Innovation Forum to be held since the event’s inception. From the perspective of preventing the spread of COVID-19, this year's event will be held as an online event in which people can participate in various programs on the Internet, instead of the real event held at the venues in previous years, in order to give top priority to the safety and health of our customers, partners and everyone else involved in the event.
Hitachi Building Systems will introduce building systems in the new normal era through the session, seminar and on-demand videos related to smart building.
“New Paradigms and Perspectives of Building Spaces in the New Normal Era”
The world is facing new social issues such as climate change, declining birth rates, population aging and the COVID-19 pandemic. As values, societies and company structures are changing, so must buildings, in order to provide lasting value for a globalized society. In this session, we will prospect the future, as well as the new ideal of building systems. Atsuya Fujino, CTO of Building Systems business Unit, Hitachi and Director, CTO of Hitachi Building Systems will have a guest, the landscape architect Masayuki Wakui, and talk from wide range of viewpoint.
“Making your Building Management Easier through DX in the New Normal Era”
We live in an uncertain and complex world where we often face unpredictable events such as COVID-19 and torrential rain. Hitachi has a long history of experience in maintenance and operation technology which it utilized to develop the latest technology. In this session, we will introduce digital services for elevators which can support customers' buildings safely, securely, and efficiently. The speaker is Takeshi Yamamoto, General Manager of Field Service Management Division, Hitachi Building Systems.
(1) “A Touchless Solution Helping People to Move Securely in Buildings in the New Normal Era”
We will introduce our digital solutions helping people to move comfortably and securely within office and residential buildings. (AI and IoT elevators, robotics, image analysis technology, smartphone applications)
(2) “Digital Innovation in Elevators for Mid-Sized Buildings”
We will introduce digital innovation in elevators that you can start easily for mid-sized buildings. For example, building equipment monitoring system utilising remote monitoring system that observes elevators for 24 hours 365 days and dashboard that enables you to check elevator status, building equipment status, as well as maintenance and inspection history from your smartphone anytime, anywhere are to be introduced.
