Located at the heart of the Zhujiang New Town Central Business District, the Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre sits on a construction area of about 500,000 square meters, with an above-ground height of 530 meters. This large-scale commercial, office, apartment and hotel complex is invested in by the Hong Kong Chow Tai Fook Group, at a cost of 10 billion yuan. It is a landmark building in Guangzhou, composed of a main tower and a podium building. Hitachi installed a total of 160 elevators and escalators, of which 2 are noteworthy.
Firstly, the world’s fastest speed elevator, able to reach a speed of 1,260m/min, is one of them. As well as an ultra-high escalator with a lifting height of 12.5 meters.
