The headquarter of Metropolitan Electricity Authority is located at the center business area in Bangkok. The building is more than 120 meters in height with 93,000 square meters in total space. The building is also known as Watthanawipat which means “Tower of prosperity of lighting work”. The design of the building is remarkable with the concept of energy saving and environmental conservation following Thai’s Rating of Energy and Environmental Sustainability (TREES) standard at a Gold level, awarded by the Thai Green Building Institute.
