Shizu TAKEDA, Ph.D. is currently a Corporate Chief Scientist in the Research & Development Group of Hitachi, Ltd. She joined Hitachi in 2001 after post-doctoral work in the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Tokyo. Takeda is also the Laboratory Manager of the Hitachi Kobe Laboratory.
Takeda is a member of the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine (JSRM), the Molecular Biology Society of Japan (MBSJ) and International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy (ISCT).
