Managed cloud refers to cloud services that offer such services as establishment, operation management and maintenance of the cloud environment.
Normally, services of cloud operators are limited to provision of necessary resources to the users, and establishment of the cloud environment and other preparations are to be conducted by the users. To do so, however, the users must have certain IT expertise and bear a large burden. Such a burden can be reduced by leaving these tasks to the operators who have relevant know-how. Moreover, the users can realize the optimum cloud environment that suits their use purposes by utilizing the unique optional services provided by the operators.
